Batman fandom

Batman
WHO IS BATMAN?

"I'm Batman" is a famous line that comes from a crime-fighting vigilante who as a young boy had his parents brutally murdered in an alleyway. He was taken in by his butler Alfred, who still takes care of him and took over his family's fortune. Now he is Batman also known as Bruce Wayne, a multi-billionaire playboy whose funds go into Batman's toys some of which include the batmobile, batarangs, and much more. Over the years of fighting crime, Batman has fought many villains such as Scarecrow, Bane, Mr. Freeze, The Penguin, Two-Face, and his arch nemesis The Joker. Batman has developed a bit of a fan base over the years and his fandom is legendary. Between people dressing up, acting like Batman, saying his quotes, or even making vehicles after him this just shows how much of a fandom he truly does have.

COSPLAY

Cosplay is when a fan decides to dress as their favorite character from a movie, show, comic, book, and many more. Batman's fandom definitely likes to dress as him and even does something a little bit more different. Due to all of the forms, we see Batman as his fandom has a very big amount of options to choose from and many make their own costumes which brings in a whole new creative way to show their loyalty of being a fan. My personal favorite way we see Batman is The Batman Who Laughs which is a dark side of Batman and he is the only one to kill his joker which is something every other Batman will not do due to his moral code. People have made many costumes with all of Batman's outfits with pads from sports and custom-made items as well.

COMIC CON

Comic-Con is a big event that takes place in San Diego California and is a huge event where you can find all sorts of things from everyone's favorite characters. Often people dress up here and this is where you can find some amazing Cosplay as well as the voice actors or actors themselves. Comic-Con has Q&A's with the characters where you can ask all the questions your heart desires. This is also a great opportunity for fans to get whatever they would like autographed which is a guarantee when it comes to Batman fandom. If you're lucky enough it might even have the vehicles they used in the films there. Lastly, Fans will bring these customs that they have here and show them off and stand like Batman as a samurai shown in the image to the right. The San Diego Union Tribune states that "He is the first inductee into the San Diego Comic-Con Hall of Fame."

Batman's Twitter Responding to a Fan

Batman is on Social Media?

you heard it right here Batman himself has a Twitter account. DC decided to make a Twitter account for the Caped Crusader. DC decided this would be a fun way to have fans interact with someone who acts and relates to them like Batman to continue to market him and show his fans he is still very much out there loving the support. In this tweet to your left, it shows the account interacting with a fan who took a picture of their cat sitting on top of a shelf like Batman would casting a shadow on the ceiling that looks like him. This is a great way to have Batman fandom interact with him in a way that is enjoyable for all. Between funny tweets like this and the posts of Batman in his films, this is a rare thing only a few fans get to have with their favorite character.

                Batman Inspires

The Red Ranger
There is no surprise that Batman inspires people but the lengths people go to are definitely interesting. Some people will build their own cars to look like some of his vehicles and some people make TikToks dressed as him and make funny content to be like him. There even is a super fan who once had the largest collection of Batman items like action figures, signs, and more. Kevin is a die-hard fan of Batman and he proves it. But I think there is an even bigger superfan that takes after Batman. He goes by Red Ranger and walks around livestreaming his night protecting the areas of his city with a patrol and some others decide to join him dressed up in their own costumes and all. His goal is to keep the streets safe at night and help the homeless with food and water. He says that he is inspired by many superheroes one being Batman and he hopes to be like him.
