  Who is Taylor Swift?
Taylor Swift is a singer/ song writer who started to become popular is the 2000s. She originally sang country music, then later switched to singing pop, and now is the most popular singer in the world. She has a countless number of grammys and rewards for her work and songs. When Taylor started dropping more albums, and her fame started going through the roof, the fandom “Swifties” started. Swifties fandom is popular in all ages, and genders, they are known for high levels of participation, creativity, community, and fanaticism (Wikipedia). Swifties show their love for Taylor by making social media accounts for her, creating youtube videos, fan art and much more.

                               Eras Tour
Taylor fame led her to start her Eras tour in 2023, and became one of the most popular tours ever. The Eras Tour is the ongoing sixth concert tour. It consists of 152 shows across five continents (Wikipedia). Fans went insane to buy these tickets, which even led to ticket master to crash when over 2 million tickets were sold. Fans are very creative when it comes to Taylor concerts and do a lot to show their love to her. Most fans make friendship bracelets to wear and trade with other Swifties at shows, others spend hour diying and outfit and costumes to stand out, some even dress as her during the most iconic eras. People travel the country and spend as much $11,000 to see her, so many people look up to Taylor and see her as a roll model.

Im sure everyone has seen Swiftie merch or a shirt with taylor swift on it, or one of her albums. Swiftie merch is being sold everywhere, you can get her merch on her Offical website, amazon, walmart, etc. Fans go insane when it comes to certain merch, for example fans fought to have their hands on was the Eras Tour blue crewneck. Resellers were selling the blue crewneck for over half the price and fans would fight to have it. Another item was a custom jersey called “Swelce” and “Traylor” The jersey had Kansas City Chiefs, Travis Kelce,  number 87 in it and was signed by the player himself. Fans went crazy about this product. The items were listed at $2,515 for the “Swelce” Jersey and $1,515 for the “Traylor” one according to an article from Yahoo entertainment.
Merch

Swiftie fans look up to Taylor in many ways, and show her love to her in many ways. Whether its getting a tattoo of her song lyrics, or fighting for insanely priced tickets, swifties will always show their love and passion for Taylor and look up to her as a role model.

ZIPD conference    Hey, my name is Katie and I am from Limerick, PA. I am currently a freshman and my major is finance. To apply my major to real life situations, I am an active member of Bloomsburg Investment Group and I am hoping to get a position on the executive board this spring. Who is Reese Harmon?

  Hello, my name is Reese Harmon. This is my second semester at Bloomsburg University, majoring in Medical Imaging. I grew up in the town of Bloomsburg and feel very at home attending the university. I love spending as much time outdoors as possible camping, hiking, and fishing with my friends and family. I don't enjoy playing sports, but I love watching hockey and going ice skating. One of my favorite places to travel to is Seneca Lake in New York. I go every summer with my family and our family friends. We spend a week camping, driving to cool locations, and relaxing on the lake! I did horseback riding for 7 years and was on the International Equestrian Association team for the stable I rode at. I competed in multiple shows and made it to regionals twice! I unfortunately don't ride horses anymore, but I would like to again in the future.
