Pink Floyd

In the years throughout Pink Floyd's success they have sold over 250 million copies of their albums and they are extremely popular in both the US and the UK. Behind each copy sold is a person with a strong love for Pink Floyd. Even though Pink Floyd was a band formed in the 60's and was considered psychedelic music it was listened to by a large group of free spirited men and women, but even years later in todays world you'll still hear the many great sounds of Pink Floyd played by various groups of individuals.

 Pink Floyd Band Members

I grew up listening to Pink Floyd in my home and its one of my most favorite bands to listen to. While listening to their soulful melody its easy to get lost in their music which is one of the reasons why they're so beloved.  Its calming and interesting and makes it music that all ages love listening to. As we can see from their number 1 charted album The Dark Side of The Moon which sold over 30 million copies. Another popular album is The Wall. The wall tells the story of a man affected by war as a child who grew up to live a downward spiral life. Each song tells a story in an album and many listeners can connect to these songs and relate to these stories which makes it so well liked.

Another great way fans love to show their support is through their own fan art. In my own room it is littered with posters, album covers, drawings, etc. While scrolling through various websites, like reddit, I  kept stumbling upon awesome pieces of artwork that were inspired by so many of Pink Floyds songs. Since most of the songs Pink Floyd has created a lot of artwork themselves, fans then take that art and make it into amazing creations of their own.
Check out this awesome piece I found on reddit to the left!

Tribute Concerts
Although the band is not all together and entirely active many fans love to get together in various locations to perform tributes for them. Theres a lot of amateur bands that love to get together to perform in local areas. On the other hand there are also currently 10 established professional bands that dedicate their entire career in music to Pink Floyd. They travel all across the globe to try and bring back the majestic sounds of what the band members of Pink Floyd once gave us. In the following video you'll see small clips of the tribute bands perform:
