 THE PERK 

    1975 the perk open its doors as a restaurant after being being a hotel since 1850 and now as you walk up to the front door of the perk you are greeted by warm lights welcoming you into the perfect small town restaurant. The door opens and you are met with a 15 foot narrow walkway that leads you right to the hostess stand and you are greeted with a nice smile and in an chipper tone "how many do we have today"? once ready the hostess will call out your name and say in a warm and greeting tone" you can follow me". as you walk to your table you will see along the wall the pictures of old town buildings and an amusement ride the town had along with a trolley that used to take you everywhere in town. They also have sports articles such our women's soccer team winning states or our team photo for football from 2022.

once you are seated you'll look around and find the bar in the middle of the restaurant with passionate sports fans and blue collar workers. you'll also notice the amount of noise from all the family and friends talking around the restaurant with laughter spreading like wildfire from tables and glasses clanking together to passionate slightly drunk people cheering at the TV's and if your lucky enough hearing the local Highschool team celebrate and cheer. Your server will come up to your table in a baseball jersey that is black with gold trip and green lettering of "the Perk" right in the middle of it that has has a ribbon below it with Est.1854 written on it in gold lettering as well as a #1 right below the ribbon slightly to the left on the jersey.

    Now for what to drink on the menu. Almost everything Including soda such as Pepsi coke diet coke diet Pepsi ginger ale hi c and more they also have hot tea iced tea lemonade coffee hanks root beer fruit juices milk chocolate milk  hot chocolate milkshakes and finally beer including local brewed beer. almost every server will always be super great and asking if you need anything 5-6 times while your there as well as making small talk and making a joke or two.

the menu its self has over 20 appetizers ranging from soup to wings to fries. We get into the main course with 8 different salads 10 different burgers 10 different sandwiches 7 chicken and steak sandwiches 2 tacos 2 melts 3 wraps including my personal favorite the chipotle chicken wrap 6 classics restaurant items such as chicken fingers and mac and cheese 12 main course meals 14 desserts and finally 7 kids items for 10 and under. The honey siracha on tenders chicken sandwiches or the wings is the most popular thing on the menu with its perfect blend of sweet and spicy 

Lastly as you walk out of the restaurant you are thanked for coming about a thousand times and leaving with a satisfied stomach and full appetite you'll be questioning where all the time went after sitting down with your friends and how you spent so little for such a good time. you might just have a thought of when you have to come back to get another amazing meal form such a great experience in a beautiful town.
