Nicki Minaj is a pop star who has been making music since 2004 and is one of the most active artists. With her consistency and catchy songs, she has built up a huge fan base that makes sure Nicki Minaj stays relevant and shows much love with fan art, cosplay, and social media that updates fans on her new releases and any news. Nicki fans admire her on a great level and refer to 
her as the Queen of Rap.

    Other ways fans engage is with the Barbz streaming Nicki's music. As an active artist, Nicki constantly keeps fans engaged and promoting her music. When she does release new content, fans take it upon themselves to go to twitter or Instagram and promote her music with memes, edits, and posts to boost chart positions and get new people to listen. When Nicki released her perfume brand, fans went outside of a mall dressed as her and in pink and offered samples to people walking by. Nicki's concerts are also a staple in the fandom, as this is where they show up and show out. Below, is a video recorded by a fan where the entire venue sings "The Night is Still Young", and it shows that they are not a regular fanbase, but one that comes together to show support. It also shows how nicki lets fans sing the song with the mic and has a playful relationship with her fans.
